Meet Nelson
Nelson is a 5 year old Groodle male who is looking for his forever home! Nelson is a sweet and friendly boy, weighing in at 40kg. He is vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, and wormed, so he's all ready to go! Nelson gets along great with other dogs and loves people. He would do best in a home with children over 6 years of age. A normal secure fence will be required to ensure Nelson stays safe.
He was surrendered due to altercation with another dog in the home over food. So whilst this only happened twice , and he gets along with other flags, he would probably love to be a single pet. He is VERY affectionate, LOVES attention, wants to sleep in your bed and sit on the couch with you. Be prepared for a giant teddy bear. He definitely needs a home where he is wanted and loved and allowed inside and with his family. Please add this into your application .
Nelson loves to explore outdoors and would make a great walking buddy or hiking companion for an active family. He's sure to bring lots of joy and companionship wherever he goes! If you're interested in adopting Nelson, please contact the rescue group located at Indooroopilly for more information. The adoption fee is $995.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
