About Dot 35326
-Owner Committed to Training Preferred
-Best As Only Dog
-Open to Meet Kids 10-12 yrs +
-Approx. 16kg
Dot is a charming and loving canine searching for a forever home with someone who understands her unique needs and can provide the patience and care she deserves.
Dot is an adorable dog with a sensitive disposition and a timid nature. She's had her share of challenges but remains resilient and is ready to find her perfect match. Dot thrives in a calm and quiet environment, making her the ideal companion for a peaceful household.
Dot requires a compassionate owner with experience in caring for dogs with special needs. Her new owner should be prepared to invest time, effort, and love into helping her overcome her shyness and build her confidence.
While she is open to meeting kids aged 10-12 years and up, Dot would do best in a home where the children are understanding of her sensitive nature. She will blossom in a patient and caring environment, where everyone can offer her the gentle support she needs.
Dot prefers to be the centre of attention, so she would be most content as the only dog in the household. This will allow her to feel safe and secure, providing her with the best chance to flourish.
Due to her sensitive nature, Dot wouldn't be a good fit in a home with cats or other small animals. It's essential to ensure she feels comfortable and stress-free in her new surroundings.
Dot would greatly benefit from a home with free access to both indoor and outdoor areas. A property with a medium to large yard and high, secure fencing is the perfect setting for her to explore.
Though she isn't the most energetic dog, Dot still appreciates daily exercise and walks to keep her body and mind healthy. Regular exercise will help her feel more at ease and content.
Dot is a smart girl and is food-motivated, which makes training a positive and rewarding experience for her. While she already knows basic commands like "sit," she could use more training, especially with walking on a lead. One-on-one training will be essential post-adoption to help her build her confidence and refine her social manners.
If you have the experience and understanding needed to be Dot's perfect match, she will be forever grateful for your love and care. Your patience and commitment will help this sweet girl come out of her shell and enjoy the world around her.
