About Fitzgerald 35322
-Breed Experience Preferred
-Dog Social/Selective
-Open to Meet Kids 12 yrs +
-Approx. 39kg
Fitzgerald is looking for a loving home. He is an independent and agreeable dog with a calm and quiet demeanour, and we’re hoping to find him a family that appreciates these qualities. If you have experience with the Rottweiler breed or have owned dogs before, then you might be a perfect match!
Fitzgerald will thrive in a serene environment, a calm and quiet home would be ideal for him. He is open to meeting children aged 12 years and up. Fitzgerald enjoys the company of other dogs with similar energy levels but it's important to note that he is not compatible with cats or other small pets. We always encourage that future interactions with other dogs are slow and controlled.
In terms of living arrangements, he would love to have both indoor and outdoor access. A medium to large yard with high secure fencing would be perfect to ensure his safety and give him room to explore. As for exercise, his energy requirements are low, so short daily walks would be sufficient to keep him content and healthy.
If you're a part-time worker or have a full-time job, that's not a problem for Fitz – he’s quite independent and can handle some alone time during the day. Of course, he'll be overjoyed to see you when you come home!
While he is not particularly motivated by food or interested in toys, he absolutely adores being patted all over and personal play with his human friends. So if you're looking for a dog who appreciates a good scratch behind the ears or a belly rub, he’s your guy!
Presently Fitzgerald doesn’t know any commands at the moment, although we have identified that he is a smart cookie and eager to learn. Ongoing training at home or with a professional would greatly benefit him, ensuring that he become the best companion that he can be. On a positive note, he walks well on a lead, making outdoor adventures a breeze!
If you're ready to provide a loving and nurturing home for a gentle giant and sensitive soul like Fitz, then please submit your Expression of Interest.
