This lovable little guy is Baxter. Baxter came to SAFE Bunbury in dire need of some TLC. He's now had quite a few infected teeth removed and his coat clipped, and must be feeling like a new dog!

Baxter is a really sweet dog who will make a great companion. He's in care with a primary-school-aged child and a small dog, and has also lived with a large doggy friend. We are told he has apparently shared his home successfully with a cat, although this has not been tested in our care. He's toilet trained and used to living indoors close to his humans. He will prefer a home where he's not left alone without company for long periods. We are not sure he's ever been around very small children so for this reason maybe over 5s only.

Baxter loves his daily walks and is good on the lead. His new owner must be able to take him out regularly for walkies to keep him happy and healthy. He will need a home with secure fencing.

Baxter is just a happy, calm little dog who should fit pretty well into most loving homes. To apply, please complete an application form as per above.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, flea and worm treatment, vaccination and microchip (including transfer of ownership fee). Baxter is sterilised.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
