Scarlet & Joey

Joey (Black) and Scarlet (Tabby) are playful happy go lucky kittens with sweet and gentle personalities. One of five kittens, they were born in a family’s yard, where the kind man looked out for them until they were old enough to come into rescue.

These two love to play and will often chase each other or have a few wrestles with each other. They enjoy all of their interactive toys and love to climb about on their cat trees.

Scarlet and Joey are both still getting used to people so they will need a calm and patient family to help them settled into their new home and grow in confidence with their humans. Scarlet is more confident than Joey and can be patted and picked up for short amounts of time. Joey does not like being approached or picked up but we know inside he wants to let go, it will just take some time. However, both of them can be patted when sitting in their cat tree or on the couch or bed. They will sit besides you but not yet on your lap and will follow you into your bedroom or bathroom.

Both of them have gained confidence since they came into care and with time and lots of interactive play, they will come to be trusting of their new humans. Joey particularly loves sitting near you and playing with the wand toys.

They are used to an older cat which has also helped them to gain confidence. Whilst they are confident on their own, their new humans will need to spend time with them to earn trust and learn that people are okay.
