About Humphrey + Barney
Meet Humphrey and Barney!
This dynamic duo will enrich your life tenfold, there will never be a dull moment while they’re around.
Barney is the extra floofy ginger with a big personality.
He loves to be the centre of attention and will gently paw at your or lick your hand if he feels he’s not getting enough.
He loves cuddles and plenty of butt and chin scratches. You know you’ve hit the magic spot when he stars purring loudly.
Barney has a fear of missing out so will need to be included in day to day activities.
Humphrey is the short haired grey kitten who just loves to be loved. He enjoys doing his own thing and exploring anything new but he’ll always have one eye on his best friend Barney. If the two are apart they will cry out for each other until they’re reunited.
He loves his cuddles and butt and chin scratches too.
Humphrey and Barney are confident boys who don’t take long to adjust to new surroundings and people.
They are affectionate and gentle. Like typical kittens, they love to play and do their morning zoomies up the hallway. They’re not picky with their toys and will create their own fun out of just about anything. They currently have a fascination with exploring the storage baskets on the hallway table.
The boys would like their forever home to have a nice tall cat tree for them to climb and sit up the top and bird watch.
Barney and Humphrey are social butterflies and get along well with other cats and don’t mind dogs. They’re currently sharing their foster home with a blind senior blue heeler who keeps trying to sniff their butt. If he annoys them they will just give him a flick of their paws and go find somewhere else to play. As always, slow and calm introductions are a must when introducing new animals to each other.
Humphrey and Barney’s adoption fee includes their bed (they sleep together of course), toys, premium food and parasite control.
Located: Craigieburn 3064
Medical notes
Humphrey came into care with an eye infection. This has been treated but as a result he has suffered some scarring to the eyeball and potentially some vision loss. He can see still out that eye and it isn’t causing him any discomfort.
We don’t anticipate any further complications down the track.
Adoption details
Hear No Evil's Adoption process:
1st Step * You contact us to obtain an adoption application, and discuss the dog of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability.
2nd Step * A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and and current dogs is arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
3rd Step *Payment of the Adoption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records.
Transport arrangements are the financial responsibility of the Adopting party. Hear No Evil are happy to assist with departure preparations and ensuring the dog makes its transport connection.
Final step * Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
