Henry

Henry is a sweet, shy young man who is looking for an owner who will help build his confidence and who will understand he will likely need support moving into his forever home. He hasn't had the best start to life and has likely missed out on important socialisation. He is a bit fearful of the big wide world and can become easily overwhelmed in new environments and when meeting new people. Henry has spent the last month in a foster home and has blossomed given time and patience.
He has learnt some wonderful tricks while in the foster home including, drop, leave it, crate training, fetch and walking on lead! The behaviour team are committed to continued support for Henry as he settles into his new home which will include post adoption check ins. He will likely benefit from having another dog, who is well established in the home, to help his confidence grow while he settles in. A female of similar size is best and they will need to meet before heading home together. Henry is best suited to older children. He will not cope with dog parks or off lead areas.
