About Alvin
Alvin is a smart, sweet but somewhat anxious young lad who can be unsure of new people and environments, and with loud and unfamiliar noises. We'd recommend crate/mat training to give Alvin a place to go when feeling worried or overwhelmed. He'll need to be allowed indoors to be a part of the family. Alvin will bond quickly to his new family and will want to be with them as much as possible. Once he knows you, he can be quite an affectionate boy, leaning into cuddles! We'd also recommend a calm quiet home with structure and routine: Alvin is unsure of loud and unfamiliar noises. Feeding from enrichment is a good idea: this will provide Alvin with some mental stimulation to keep that busy brain of his active! Further training & 4 Paws at all times, is recommended for Alvin as he can become a little aroused. He was a little worried by the toys, so he may need someone to show him how to use them! Teens in the home is preferable and this may be able to be lowered to calm older children but he'll need to meet all the family at time of adoption.
