Dominick has so much love to give and needs a family who will be home most the time so that he can sleep at your feet or curled up next to you on the couch. He is an absolute softy that will melt your heart and get you all the compliments when new people meet him. If you can’t resist puppy eyes then you are toast!

Family: He absolutely loves his hoomans and wants everyone he passes to be his best friend. Would suit a home as the only dog if his family will be home much more often than not. Otherwise a home with a doggo friend (preferably an older mentor to learn from) to keep him company would also be great. Loves kids and seems to be quite good with them but he is big for a puppy and can get over excited so better if any kids are a bit older and dog savvy as he may knock over smaller kids.

Home: Would LOVE a home with a big yard - but if not a small yard is fine but will need two 20+ min walks a day to get out and explore and expel all that energy!

Training: Very well toilet trained and sleeps through the night. Knows basic commands but still needs consistent training to work on a few minor puppy behaviours (pulls on lead, jumps to meet new people, nibbles on hands). INCREDIBLY food motivated and smart – so with a bit of effort and patience will be very easily trainable and is already working on these things!

Behaviours: Very rarely barks but cats seem to set him off. Apart from with cats – he doesn’t seem to have an aggressive bone in his body – he is a lover not a fighter. He is teething and so if it can fit in his mouth he WILL chew it – but he should grow out of this. He wants attention from everyone and to spend as much time on your lap getting pats as possible. A home where he is allowed inside and has family around most of the time is an absolute must.
