About Winston
Winston is the most loveable snuggle pot who adores being with his people. He is so happy to sit by your side or lie on a foot or beside you when cooking in the kitchen.
Winston is very obedient and can sit, stay, come when called, walk without pulling (mostly), and is so gentle when he is given treats. He loves food, so further training will be easy.
Winston has a hilarious little face when his lip gets stuck and he will creep on to your bed in the morning when he hears us stir, often sitting on top of us not knowing his own weight and size. Which is totally forgiven when he snuggles in.
Winston can be left home alone for a bit but isn’t a fan. (who is?) He was previously bonded with another female American Bulldog dog before coming to the rescue and unfortunately has been separated from her. So could possibly bond with another dog in the future with controlled introductions.
Winston is very curious about other dogs but will need extra training and socialising to learn to be dog polite. He isn’t a huge fan of being too close to other dogs on walks, so committing the time to build his confidence and manners is needed to help Winston thrive at his new home. No dog parks please.
Winston absolutely loves to play with his toys or with our son and is very friendly to all people. He knows who the dog lovers are and does a special bum tail wag dance when he meets them!
Winston has a beautiful heart and soul, and would be the perfect addition to your family, especially if you've had previous experience with a bully breed.
If you think you could be the perfect match to love Winston forever, please submit an adoption application with Mini's Bulldog Rescue today!

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
