About Dariah - 4 Month Old Shar Pei X Staffy (Trial)
Dariah is a beautiful healthy 4 month old girl who is being raised in a family home environment. Her mum is American staffy x English staffy and her dad is a Shar-pei. Dariah will grow up to be a medium dog.
She is your typical happy little girl when she is in the safety of her own home but is a little shy when in new social environments. Dariah needs someone to teach her that she is loved and safe. Once she is in a environment that she is comfortable in, her beautiful affectionate cheeky personality just explodes.
Dariah is a sweet affectionate girl who loves a good snuggle on the lounge just as much as she enjoys a run and play in the back yard. She loves stuffed toys and chasing balls, she also loves bones and is starting to explore her paddle pool with this warmer weather.
Dariah is happy in the back yard during the day and keeps herself entertained well, although she is currently in care with her litter brother and has him for company so it will take her a little bit of getting used to being completely on her own.
Dariah will make a very loyal loving family member. She is well behaved with the resident indoor cat of the house.
Dariah is currently in care in a home with two young children ages 4-6 and is very happy and affectionate with the kids. Dariah is still a puppy and is still learning so will need continued training and guidance has she grows and develops. It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Dariah. If not then there needs to be someone In the household that doesn’t work full time.
We always recommend puppy training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise and training.
Dariah is currently sleeping indoors in a crate and is doing well with house training. Dariah needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg. mesh or wire).
Dariah’s sibling Dewey is also available for adoption.
Dariah is in foster care in Cessnock, NSW. Dariah's adoption fee is $700, which includes her desexing when she is old enough, and her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms and is microchipped. As Dariah is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, Sydney and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when she is approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
If you are interested in adopting Dariah please fill out the adoption application form here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt. For more information on Dariah please contact her foster carer on their email drn.hannahk@hotmail.com

PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
