About Donald - 14 Week Old Shar Pei X Staffy (Trial)
Available for adoption is Donald, a 14 week-old Shar Pei x Staffy puppy. Donald currently weighs 10kg and he will grow into a medium sized dog.
Donald is a happy, affectionate boy who loves people and other dogs. Donald will melt your heart, he has great eye contact with people and he absolutely loves cuddles.
Donald needs someone with time to dedicate to training so he can learn to be a happy and well mannered dog. Donald will benefit from attending puppy school and /or obedience classes.
Donald has had exposure to children and other dogs in foster care, so has had a great start to socialisation. Being so young he is still learning toilet training. He is making excellent progress and this will need to be continued in his new home. Donald is also being crate trained in his foster home.
Donald is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Donald's adoption fee is $700. As Donald is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, Sydney and Port Stephens because he will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when he is approximately 5/6 months old.

PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
