This dashing doggo is a Kelpie X, around 9 to 12 months old, and he's got a personality that's out of this galaxy.

While he is handsome and confident, like his namesake Han Solo, his personality is more Luke Skywalker crossed with Ewoks. The perfect blend of friendly, playful, and a touch of mischievous charm.

This fluffy fella’s breed mix is a mystery, as he's a bit shorter and wider than your average Kelpie (KelpieX Corgi??, KelpieX mini German Shepherd??). He is under knee height, and approx 18 kg. He sports a luscious mane that adds to his irresistible charm. While he is active and needs a fair bit of exercise, once that’s taken care of, he is happy to chill around the house.

He is a pretty easy going dog so would suit a number of types of forever homes. He is very social so either a dog companion or someone around more often than not would be best.

While in our care, he has made good progress on toilet training, and only had the odd accident, getting better each day! He has also learned that jumping on people isn't the way to win them over. Instead, he's discovered that keeping his feet or bum on the floor is the desired behavior, his new home will need to keep reinforcing thi sand spend time teaching him their house rules.

Han Solo absolutely adores other dogs. However, his play style still needs a bit of maturing. He's a good listener when his fellow canines correct him, but sometimes he misses the more subtle cues. He is a quick learner though, and with some guidance, he'll become a seasoned playtime pro in no time.

He walks well on lead, a little pulling if he seems something he likes. City life is still new to him, he takes the time to observe and internalise his surroundings, making every walk a learning experience. Prepare for many stops along the way as he takes in all the exciting sights and sounds!

Affectionate to the core, Han Solo is a true cuddle champion. He loves nothing more than receiving pats and snuggling up with his foster family.

He is eager to learn and highly motivated by food, with ongoing dedication to his training he will be a joy to any family.

Han Solo is improving with being left alone for longer periods while in our care. Plus, he's perfectly content when accompanied by other doggy pals.
