About Ash
Ash is a six year old lovely lady who had been used to breed multiple puppies. She is now desexed and looks forward to a relaxed quiet retirement. This dear lady having been a Mum shows a gentle and tolerant nature. This is clearly visible when Ash meets children even very young children. She is very soft and respectful around people.
Ash is social with other dogs but won't tolerate other dogs who are rude and don't show their manners. She is very loyal and in time will develop a strong bond with her owner(s) and in return Ash is just wanting love, attention and companionship.
Ash will thrive when she is welcomed into the family home just to lay at your feet or be stroked on the head and told what a beautiful girl she is. She does not require a lot of exercise but does enjoy walks and free runs once a day.
She is social around multiple dogs, German Shepherds, Kelpies and two little fluffy dogs.
Ash has a lot of love to give and she just wants to be your most loyal and faithful best friend. Ash is very trainable and requires a family that understands the commitment of owning a German Shepherd like Ash who just wants to be with you.
Ash has not been tested cats.
If you think you can give Ash a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Ash".
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family and any dogs to meet Ash. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Ash is Desexed, Vaccinated and wormed.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
