Hey guys, it's nice to meet you! My name is Bailey and I'm looking for my furever home!

I'm a pretty cute guy and I came into the shelter through no fault of my own. I lost my previous owner and now I've found myself here. So here's a little about me and the kind of home I'm looking for so you can see if that could be you!

I love a good pat and cuddle, but I can be a little sensitive and shy when it comes to being touched around my face and head. I'm what's called "head shy". So when people try to put a lead over my head I sometimes flinch and move away. I'd do best in a home with someone who has owned dogs before and who can read my body language, someone who will understand to take it a bit slow with me when it comes to that kind of stuff. Lead placement is scary! I'd also like to go to a home with no young children, just so everyone is old enough to understand not to push me in these moments. If you want to pat the rest of my body (back scratches please!!), that'll be fine though. Like I said I love a pat. I'll come right on over and snuggle up to you!

In my previous home I lived both inside and outside, so I'd like to go to a home where this will still be the case please! I love my people so much, and I want to be with you as much as possible. Even if it's just relaxing next to you on the couch. So a home where I'm really included as part of the family would be great!

During my stay at the shelter I've shown to be pretty friendly with other dogs too! I used to live with other dogs, and since being here I've even made a few friends and had some doggy playdates with them. So if you already have doggo at home that's totally fine! You can bring them down to the shelter to meet me. We can have a match up and make sure we'll get along well and become the best of friends!
