Happy is one of our Seven Dwarves pups, but this beautiful girl will definitely not be small in stature! We believe Happy and her littermates will be pretty large dogs when fully grown 🥰.
Happy is a gorgeous pup; inquisitive, playful and friendly. She's also clever and has already learnt to sit for her dinner and to go the toilet in the same place each time. She is in a foster home with children and a large dog and is great with both; she likes playing and cuddling with the younger kids, and loves to play with the dog and follow her around. Due to her size and puppy exuberance she may not suit toddlers. Happy's seen the household cats from a distance and is curious of them.
We recommend formal training classes for pups so they can learn basic commands and manners in a positive environment and also socialise with other dogs and humans. Especially with big dogs, being able to be out and about in public spaces knowing that your dog will be comfortable seeing new people and dogs is a must.
As she gets older Happy will need regular exercise, playtimes and lots of mental and physical enrichment. At least when settling in, she will benefit from having human company at least part of every day: long hours without people isn't a great match for a pup.
Happy will be a fabulous, loyal family dog and a great addition to a loving home. Please apply by completing the SAFE application form - see link above from PetRescue or click on 'Apply to Adopt' from the SAFE site.
