ABOUT DOC
Doc is a lovely pup who will be a large dog when fully grown.
QUICK TICKS
* Great with kids
* Loves other dogs and would fit in well to a home that already has a friendly pooch
* No accidents inside
Doc is a sweet pup who is crate trained for night time and has no accidents indoors. He also loves to go in his crate at other times with the door open, for a rest. He is quite timid/nervous about new things, but gets confidence from his foster family's dog or from being with his people. He is quite playful and boisterous at times, loving to run and play, then is happy to curl up for a sleep when worn out. Doc loves food - well, he is a growing pup 🐶. He will sit for his dinner, but can't hold back once the dish is down! Beautiful Doc loves cuddles, and will happily snuggle into your lap for them. He is a sweetheart and just wants to be with people. He's not yet a huge fan of water.
As he gets older Doc will need regular exercise, playtimes and lots of mental and physical enrichment. When settling into his new home he will benefit from having lots of company with not too many hours a day without his human.
Pups require commitment to ongoing training (especially a large dog such as Doc will be), exercise and socialisation (this means taking them out of their home to have positive experiences such as seeing/meeting new dogs, going new places, hearing new noises, going to the vet etc so they gain confidence in being out of your home).
Doc will be a fabulous addition to a loving home. Please apply by completing the SAFE application form - see link above from PetRescue or click on Apply to Adopt From SAFE site.
