Muffin and La Umbrion
Muffin and Umbrion are an inseparable pair of pups! Very energetic when they first see you but shortly settling down and ready for pats. Umbrion is the cheeky mischief instigator whilst Muffin is happy to hang back before following Umbrion and getting involved in the mischief. This adorable pair keep each other company and will often be found wagging their tails in unison!
La Umbrion is a Standard Poodle weighing 16 kilos and Muffin is a Labrador x Poodle weighing in at 28 kilos
While La Unbrion has a typical Standard poodle coat that will require very regular professional grooming Muffin has a more of a course coat that although will require ongoing maintenance will not be a regular as La Umbrions

Favorite things:
Umbrion absolutely loves chasing her ball, she could play for hours on end, bringing it back each time. Muffin also enjoys getting in on the fun but has not mastered the return yet, and much prefers a chew toy. Muffin and Umbrion enjoy a walk to stretch their legs. Muffin and Umbrion of course love pats and belly rubs. They enjoy playing with each other, which can at times be fast paced and rough. Muffin and Umbrion LOVE treats, or food of any kind for that matter.
Interaction with humans:
Muffin and Umbrion have warmed up nicely to a new foster family, and reacted positively towards friends in our home, calming down and accepting pats. This pair gets very excited when they first see you, jumping up on their back legs in excitement, but are learning that this is not preferred behavior. On walks however, Muffin and Umbrion will pull towards strangers, jumping up on their back legs. Children …. (none met whilst in our care)

Grooming and hygiene
Both of the girls have had a professional groom and were both well behaved
La Umbrion being a standard poodle will require a professional cut every 6-8 weeks so please factor this in
Obedience/Training:
Muffin and Umbrion will need ongoing one-to-one training to improve obedience. Currently they can sit and their recall is improving. They have excitement around food and are learning to be patient at meal times. Muffin and Umbrion will attempt to push their way into the house before you, but are learning that this is not good manners.
Muffin and Umbrion walk well on lead, pulling initially but shortly settling. However, if they see a dog on a walk they pull and bark at the dog until it is out of sight, even if the other dog shows no interest. They will need ongoing training with this behavior.
Animal Social Skills:
Muffin is great with other dogs, whereas umbrion is more reserved and doesn't like dogs in her face or jumping all over her. When out on walks and Umbrion sees other dogs she will bark out of excitement as she wants to meet the other dog. Muffin and Umbrion bark at birds in the yard, and also at neighboring dogs, but will stop when called.
The girls are NOT good with cats
Food:
Muffin and Umbrion have been having dry food in the morning and a combination of wet and dry food in the evenings. They are very keen at meal times and show lots of excitement. Muffin and Umbrion love treats.
Independence:
Muffin and Umbrion spend their days keeping each other company, either playing/chasing each other around or playing independently with toys. They are very relaxed when together, therefore cannot be separated.
Sleeping:
Muffin and Umbrion have been sleeping outside in a kennel together in a fully covered undercover area in a big warm draught free kennel
Exercise:
Muffin and Umbrion would be happy with alternate days of walking and having a run around in the backyard chasing the ball.
Inside the home:
Muffin and Umbrion have the zoomies when let inside, running around the entire house but shortly settling down. Then you will find them sitting close-by, watching your every move, especially if you’re cooking. Muffin and Umbrion would join you on the couch for some cuddles and pats.
Ideal Home:
The ideal home for these bonded besties is a household who can handle the excitedness of two bouncy pups. Muffin and Umbrion’s ideal family will be able to dedicate extensive training to improve their obedience. Whilst they are okay alone with each other for extended periods of time, they do require stimulation daily to keep them out of mischief. Muffin and Umbrion would prefer to be the only dogs of the house.
The girls require a medium to large size yard with plenty of shade and shelter and grass to run on
Lots of stimulation to keep them entertained

Children are fine BUT as we have stated the girls can be jumpy when excited so mature dog savvy please
