Hey there, how’s it going?

My name is Pickles and you guessed it – I do get into some Pickles – but they always make my foster mum laugh (laugh / cry same same)

Let me start by saying I am really looking for Aquaman to adopt me – I need someone who loves water as much as me and loves it when they see me snoozing in any dish that holds water in it!

When I first came into care I was a little unsure of myself and was a bit more quiet but now I am growing and getting more confident each day

So you have probably seen some of my photos by now – I am one of those pups that looks great dripping wet or dry (ha ha ha ha) I am a gorgeous 8 month old Cavoodle

I am approximately 6.1 kgs

I have come into care due to personal reasons from a breeder and the rescue has made sure that all my vet work is completed and I will go to the most suitable home for me!

I have been raised with other dogs but currently an only dog – I am pretty happy with to be honest – more cuddles for me. I do get to play with others and I’m pretty good with all shapes and sizes – I do have some energy so I would either need a home with another dog to play with or a family who has dogs I can constantly socialize with and also them keep me entertained.

My foster mum says I love to be busy - that can be busy finding a good water bowl to sit in, run around playing, going for walks or generally being with my family. Ideally I need a family who are hands on and make me nearly every part of their lives.

I also love affection – I love to cuddle up to my humans and get cuddles from them. My dream home would be where I could sleep on a bed with a human.
I am happy to play outside for periods of time, especially if there is water – my foster mum has had to cover the pond because of the cold and me coming inside dripping wet for a cuddle!

My foster mum and dad currently both work fulltime – my foster dad was home until this week and my foster mum has said I wouldn’t do well home alone 8+ hours a day, 5 days a week – I would get up to mischief and be sad. I don’t have anxiety I just love to be around humans.

I would love a home where there is somewhere there – either working or shift workers or someone who doesn’t work – I just like company.

I love cuddles and kisses and I love to show my affection to my humans and they show it to me.

I have been doing really walking on the lead and whilst it’s not perfect my happy wiggling bum certainly helps make the walk fun!

I am also great with kids of all ages, even babies and teenagers!!

I am untested on cats but would probably want to play with them and make them my friend.

I am working on my house training and my foster mum says we are about 98% there (that’s just because my foster mum doesn’t have a doggy door at the moment)

I do like to steal socks and slippers – I don’t destroy them but I do like to hoard them! My foster mum says at least she knows where to go looking for them.

I do have a coat that requires regular grooming so please make sure that you do remember that it’s a life time of grooming and cause of my love of water the better groomed I am the better!!!!
