Sookie

Sookie is a sensitive, shy boy looking for an understanding companion! He is worried in new environments and when meeting new people, so his new owner will need to go slowly with all introductions to new things. Sookie is best suited to a calm, quiet, mature household as he is concerned about close handling. He is a big fan of toys! Sookie would benefit from further training eg crate training to give him a place to escape the hustle and bustle of home and a place to relax. He already knows 'sit' and 'down' and will shake for a toy! If Sookie is to share his home with another dog, he must meet her at time of adoption to see if they will get on. He can be playful but also pushy and a little rude so is not suited to visiting dog parks/ off leash areas/cafes.
