About Gus
This handsome fella is Gus, a domestic short hair born 10th May 2018.
Gus is very affectionate & loves having his cheeks & above the tail scratched. Gus doesn't mind being picked up, however he only prefers only a short hold. While he does roll over as if to ask for a belly rub, he's just being cute.. Not actually asking you to touch it haha.
Gus appears quite confident around humans so we feel he would be suitable to live with children.
Gus has only just started being introduced to other cats & kittens. Unfortunately he does seem to be uncomfortable around them and hides the whole time. While we will continue his socialisation, for the time being we feel that Gus would be happiest being a spoilt "only child".
Gus is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
Gus is such a gorgeous boy and he will be rehomed to a family who are willing to keep him as an inside cat only. He's clearly had a rough time being a street cat as he has some battle wounds & we don't want him to ever be in that situation again. Like all of our cats, he deserves to be loved & protected for the rest of his days.
If you think you could be that furever family for Gus, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Gus' adoption fee is $200 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Gus is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
