Charon

Charon has spent almost half his life at our shelter and he is only 9 months old. This gorgeous boy keeps getting overlooked but we don't know why! He'd like to say a few words...

"Hi humans, my name is Charon. It's so good to see you - I love meeting new people! I am a very happy, friendly and excitable boy but I also enjoy giving cuddles!

I'm a very smart boy and I learnt to sit and I can drop and as long as delicious treats are involved, I'd love for you to teach me more things please.

I love to play with practically any toy. I'm not fussy. If you have a rope toy, I'd really enjoy playing tug of war with you. If you don't like your neighbours or live on a big property then I'd also love the loudest of squeaky toys please because they make me very happy.

I'm a big fan of food and I eat pretty much anything so the good news is that you don't have to be a chef to adopt me!

As I have grown up in a shelter, I can be a bit excitable and I'm a bit of a jumping jack sometimes. I am hoping to find a person or family who is patient and understanding and will help me be the best dog I can be!

I am still learning to be a good boy with other dogs but if you have a dog who is very social around me, I might be able to learn to be good friends." - Charon
