About Oreo
Hi, I’m Oreo. My Mums is a Red Heeler mix and while I am not too sure of my origins, there might be some American Bulldog in my make up, but I'm glad I got some of my mums good looks! I was born in the care of my foster family. So I’ve never known anything but love and gentleness and I’ve been given plenty of space to explore and learn. I am smart, so I learn quickly, knowing how to I sit, wait and come when called. I’m inquisitive, sometimes cautious but most of all playful and have given my foster family plenty of reasons to laugh at my adventures.
I get along really well with my foster brother and I’m still hanging out with my mum for the next little while, so I’ve been given good ‘dog socialisation’. I’m really getting the hang of toilet training, as I know how to use a doggie door, and often take myself outside, so this means I don’t have too many accidents.
I’m still a baby so I really love to chew and will need ALL THE TOYS!!!! One of my favorite things to do is finding a patch of sunshine and ‘go to town’ on a toy.
I sleep well in a crate and will put myself into it when I’m tired, but also love to sleep on a couch when I am allowed. I’m not cat tested but I think I’d be ok with them.
My ideal family must have an existing active and social dog for me to play with and continue to help me with my manners. I need an experienced adopter to continue my puppy training and socialisation. I’m going to be a great dog for a very lucky family out there. If you think you are that family, then please apply for me to be your forever friend.
