About Betty - 10 Week Old Bull Arab
Betty is a 10 week old, female, Bull Arab puppy. She is a confident, low energy self designated foreman of any worksite. She is in charge and will happily oversee your work or play.
Betty is a healthy puppy who has been raised in a loving home environment. She has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. She lives with a Staffy and plays well with other dogs. She’s met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them. In no way is she shy or timid. Just confident and independent. She is the manager in any situation and will happily oversee you do chores around the house and is an expert yard work observer.
Betty is consolidating her commands, and enjoys learning new words. She is doing very well with her toilet training and mostly takes herself outside, although rainy days require some encouragement. Betty will grow up to be a large dog. Although she will be large in size and personality, she is low in energy and demands. She is a lounge dweller, and enjoys gentle walks daily. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Betty. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Betty needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Betty’s sibling Bella is also available for adoption.
Betty’s adoption fee is $700 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Betty is in foster care in Belmont NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will l need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 6 months old.
