About Arthur
Arthur, the gentle giant, Great Dane mix is the perfect sweetheart. His carers sing his praises as he is living the high life in foster care keeping nice and warm. Arthur is currently living with a cat and showing his carers that he truly is the "goodest boy." He has no fear of new people and will greet anyone and everyone with a loose, wiggly body, pushing his head into their laps for affection.
Arthur walks beautifully on a lead and is highly food motivated. He enjoys playing with his people more than toys and shows no signs of separation distress when left alone, making him a good fit for full-time workers. Having lived with other dogs previously, Arthur displays a very appropriate, bouncy, and energetic play style.
Due to his gentle and affectionate nature, Arthur could live with children and would be a loving addition to any family. He has low exercise needs and may even be suitable for an apartment, depending on whether he needs to navigate stairs.
If you are looking for a loving, easygoing, and gentle companion, Arthur could be the perfect fit for your home.
Note: This dog is currently being cared for in a foster (temporary) home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another dog.
