About Olivia
When Olivia went into foster care with us, we discovered that she was timid and fearful with new people and dogs. With some behavioural medication, a training plan and some love from our dedicated team, she has shown significant progress and is ready to continue her journey with her new family.
Olivia's adoption will be a foster to adopt initially, so that her new family can continue getting on-going support from us as she transitions and adjusts to the change. Ollie will win your heart with her cuddles and she loves playing with toys and rolling in the grass with her dog friends.
We are looking for a special home for Olivia, one where her progress can continue to flourish. As she is still building her confidence, we believe it is essential for her to live with a confident adult male as a role model. Having a four-legged mentor will help Olivia learn valuable social skills and build her confidence even further.
A patient and understanding owner who can provide a calm and structured environment will be essential for her ongoing development.
Thank you for considering giving Olivia the loving home she so deserves. Together, we can ensure her journey from fearful to fearless continues to be one of triumph and love.

On the Pet Rescue profile, push the "Enquire About This Pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please tell us all about you and your home. As this pet has special needs, be sure you tell us why you are a great match for this particular pet. The information you provide helps us to start a conversation about this pet, to find them a great home! We aim to make sure that you fully understand your new pet's needs prior to committing to taking them home, so: - For pets with specific medical needs, you will have the opportunity to discuss their requirements with a member of our vet team. - For pets with specific behaviour needs, you will have the opportunity to chat with a member of our behaviour team and their foster carer. We also provide ongoing post-adoption support to help you and your new pet develop a great relationship! Please note the following: We do not take applications for animals over the phone, as we are a small team and are trying our best to be fair to all applicants while creating the best outcomes for our animals. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days, and will confirm with all applicants once we have an adoption meet booked for the animal. All of our meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn, and all going well you will take home your pet on the day of the meet. The majority of our animals are in a foster home, not at the shelter, so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you! www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ... because t
