About Bear
Be still my beating heart, meet Bear.
Our gentle giant, Bear, is a young border collie, with such a sweet nature, it’s almost impossible to see him without a smile on his face. He will fill your life with affection in the form of hourly cuddles, smiles and kisses. He is full of energy and can keep up with the pack; but he will equally sit patiently and wait for his time to play.
Beautiful bear will suit a house with other dogs, especially a more mature dog who will continue to teach him his manners, although he already has mastered many commands including sitting, responding when called, and waiting before being invited inside. He won’t suit a house with chickens as he is just too delighted to see them and gives them a bit too much love in the form of sloppy kisses!
Bear will need owners who are familiar with working dogs and have the space and energy to give him what he needs. A big, fenced yard will be critical to help Bear continue to get to know and love the great outdoors and have plenty of space to play and explore.
This beautiful boy literally doesn’t stop smiling, and you won’t either when you welcome him into your family.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
