About Willow
This is Willow, a beautiful Kelpie girl, and the dog of everyone’s dreams.
Willow has already been a mum to 8 kelpie pups, and she was a great mother showing extreme patience with and affection for all of them, despite being so young herself. You probably know that some Kelpies can be very affectionate and ’smoochy’ – Willow is the queen of smoochiness. She loves nothing more than being with her foster family and revels in all the attention she can get.
Willow is a very gentle soul and has great manners around food and treats. She has fantastic recall, is good on a lead, is toilet trained and sleeps well in her crate.
She would love an active canine buddy to run around with – while Kelpie zoomies are fun on your own up to a point, it’s much more exciting to run around with an equally energetic friend.
Willow can easily jump over 4-foot fences, so would need higher containment when left alone. She is extremely interested in livestock, but her excellent recall makes her easy to manage around them. She might be a bit too interested in chickens, and she hasn’t been tested with cats!
Willow melts hearts and will make someone a wonderful companion. If you have experience with the Kelpie breed and are home more often than not, this is your opportunity to make a new best friend!
Willow is located in VIC.
