About Millie 💕
Introducing…Millie, our 18mth old Moodle 💜
Before I came into care with my foster family, I lived in a rural area, in what they call a ‘Puppy farm’ situation. Sadly I had very little human contact, so my world revolved around the other dogs. We didn’t have the opportunity to snuggle inside with our people, or experience the comfort of a warm bed, so foster care has been a world of new experiences for me!
It has certainly been overwhelming….people wanting to touch me, cuddle me and show me affection. Something I’m definitely not used to! I’m a very sweet girl, but still very timid and shy around humans. I absolutely adore the other dogs in my foster home though and will need a little furry friend in my forever home to help me with my trust issues.
I do have a fun, cheeky side that comes out when I think you’re not watching 😉 I will come out of hiding and ‘steal’ any fluffy dog toy I can find to take back to my crate.
I will need a quiet, calm household because I get startled quite easily by noise or movement and would struggle coping with young children. I have been around older children and curiously approach them for a quick sniff or lick before retreating. Sometimes I just can’t resist some BBQ chicken from my foster family’s hands.
Toilet training is going well, but I do still have accidents from time to time. With consistency, patience and lots of reassurance and praise, I will get there. I sleep inside in a cosy crate at night and happy to spend time both inside or outside with the other dogs in my foster home during the day. I’m still unsure about walking on a lead and harness, but again, this is all new to me and will take time and patience.
My new family will need to be patient with me and willing to spend the time with me to build trust and help me to feel safe in my new home. I am very sensitive to touch and do get quite anxious when people want to cuddle me. You’ll just need to allow me the time to trust you before smothering me with affection 🥰
You’ll find me in Erina on the Central Coast NSW, so if you’re interested in meeting me, please send through an enquiry and be sure to make it stand out ❤️

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
