Hey there, humans! I'm Little Bug, the stunning girl with tortoiseshell/tabby markings and eyes that will mesmerize you like nobody's business. I'm a work in progress, but let me tell you, I've come leaps and bounds in just a week of foster care. Watch out world, here I come!
Sure, I might be a little bit shy at first, but all it takes is a few pats of encouragement, and I'll be all over you like cat hair on a black sweater. I absolutely delight in sleeping in your lap or cozying up on the couch, purring like a motorboat ready to put you to sleep. I've got this magical purr power, you know?
But don't let my shyness fool you! Once I've bonded with someone, I'm all about the playtime. I particularly love those dangly wand toys that you humans wave around. It's like an irresistible invitation to have some wild and wacky fun! Oh, and guess what? I'm a catnip FIEND. Give me a toy filled with that stuff, and my true quirkiness comes to life. It's like I've been touched by the spirit of a disco-dancing cat!
I'd prefer a quieter home where I can feel more at ease. Spending time with children over 10 would be cool too. As for other animals, well, as long as they pay me no attention and let me do my thing, I'll probably be okay with them. But you know what? A more confident companion might be just what I need. They could show me the ropes and help me come out of my shell even more.
You see, I'm a little superstar in the making. Given the progress I've made in just one week, who knows? By the time you come to meet me, I might not be so shy anymore. I might be strutting my stuff, owning the room, and demanding all the attention like a true diva!
So, if you're looking for a unique, quirky, and ever-evolving feline friend, I'm your Bug. Together, we'll embark on an adventure filled with purrs, playtime, and maybe even a little disco fever. Let's make some memories, shall we?

Adoption details
Before applying to meet one of our cats, please ensure that
- you have the agreement of all members of the household to adopt a Cat
- you have your landlords permission to keep a pet. More information on what to do is available at https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/housing/renting/applying-for-a-rental-property-or-room/pets-and-renting
- you have all the necessary bits and pieces to welcome your new family member, starting with a cat carrier to bring them home, a litter tray, litter, food and bowls as well as a bed, toys and scratchers
- you are ready to welcome them home NOW. We are unable to hold a cat for you if you are not ready to adopt.
All funds raised at Neko HQ are to benefit Maneki Neko Cat Rescue.
