About Ollie
Meet Ollie!
Ollie is a sweet and loving pup who was bred as a racing dog, but unfortunately he wasn't very successful so now he's looking for a home through rescue.
Ollie had some spell periods but never actually ran any races.
He loves to run and walks well on the lead, and he has been well socialised with other dogs. He is currently being introduced to cats and is showing no negative reactions towards them. He is interested and will go up and have a sniff and the go back to doing what he was doing prior.
Despite having spent most of his life outdoors, Ollie is sure to make a fantastic house pet given some time and patience.
Hes currently spending some time indoors. He has had a couple accidents inside with "marking" but this will stop as his hormones lower since being desexed recently.
He loves spending time in a comfy dog bed; especially if it's by the fire or heater. He also loves wearing coats and jumpers in the colder months to keep him warm.
Ollie trainer described him as the most gentle and loving dog you could meet. She said she would trust him with kids of all ages and dogs of all sizes and ages.
Ollie is a happy boy who bobbles his head when he is happy and prancing around. He lives to give you a big smile and show all his teeth when he's excited.
Ollie sometimes likes to play with tug toys and while he loves to run when you throw the ball he hasn't quite picked up on grabbing it and bringing it back.
