CeeCee 🎀 Pom x Chihuahua (On Trial 15/7/23)

CeeCee is your ideal lap dog 🌸. She is a Pomeranian x Chihuahua, only 1 year and 6 months old. She bonds very closely to her favourite person and loves to be with them. If you’re looking for a very sweet, little companion to keep your lap and your bed warm then CeeCee is your girl.

CeeCee was surrendered due to a change in family circumstances. She is used to living with other dogs but she doesn’t interact with them and may tell them to get away from her sometimes. She could live with one other placid, little dog but she might be happier as an only dog getting and all the attention herself.

CeeCee is timid around new people so she’s not suited to a busy household with lots of visitors or living with children under 12. She hasn’t been tested with cats. She isn't a nuisance barker. She loves her food and treats. She can be playful and likes toys and things to chew.

CeeCee had been living outside in a backyard without much experience in the big, wide world. She is starting to enjoy going for a walk on a harness and lead. Walks need to be short for now but can gradually increase. Everything is new to her so she needs gradual and gentle introductions to life outside of a yard. She wouldn’t enjoy dog parks or going to cafes for quite a while yet.

CeeCee is now very much an inside dog. She is housetrained. She hasn’t had any obedience training so can’t be let off the lead. But she is young and can learn lots of new things that you want to teach her or can have one-on-one lessons with a trainer. She is too timid for dog training classes. She could go to Canine Nose Work classes though as they’re setup for one dog at a time and sniffing and finding scents is wonderful for building a dog’s confidence.

She is fine left at home alone inside for a few hours at a time but not all day. So, we're looking for a home where there is someone home most of the time (no full-time workers).

CeeCee has a lovely, soft coat which just needs some brushing and regular bathing. She is very petite and only weighs around 4kgs. She has been vet checked and is healthy.

* will let her sit on their lap and give her lots of love,
* will take her for a walk most days,
* is home most of the time,
* is young enough to be able to care for CeeCee for the rest of her life,
* has no children under 12,
* CeeCee prefers women, so a woman or a couple would be best.

CeeCee is in foster care in Belmont, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle). ⭐️She is only available for adoption within NSW and ACT.

CeeCee's adoption fee is $800 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, worms, vet checked, and microchipped.
