About Viper 😻😈
Hello, I am Viper!
I’m really hoping you can help me find my forever home as unfortunately I have been waiting quite some time.😢
I know I’m a handsome young man aren’t I?
But before you fall in love with me, I do have to tell you a bit about me and some of my let’s call them quirks 😉 so here goes.
I came into care in 2019 after being found as a stray kitten with a fractured pelvis. Since then I have been in the care of Greencross Wyong as a clinic cat.
They have been looking for my forever home ever since with no luck.
My days at the clinic are mostly filled with me taking my daily naps which is when you will hear me purr like a machine.
I do have to let you know though that while I’m napping I really don’t like to be disturbed.
I have been known to be a little grumpy if woken up. I have on quite a few occasions given my humans a bit of a swat or a little love bite as a warning to leave me alone.
Maybe I should put up a sign saying:
DO NOT DISTURB 🤣🤣
I know this behaviour is something I shouldn’t do but I do like my sleep 🤷♀️.
I love my food and will be waiting by your side for each meal with loud meows.
I am also known to be very playful, so if you have lots of toys to keep me occupied that would be amazing because if I find myself bored you may just become my play toy.
I love running and climbing as high as I can, so having a tall sturdy cat scratcher would be ideal for me. This would also give me something to sharpen my mittens on so I don’t mistakenly use your legs instead. I have done this a couple of times to the humans here who really don’t appreciate my sharp claws. whoops🙊
Even though I can be a little grumpy, at the end of the day I will show you a little of my softer side by coming and nudging you for pats and treats. If I have had enough I will definitely let you know.
I know that I won’t fit into everyone’s home and my humans will have to be mindful that everything will have to be on my terms, but I would love to have a family to call my own. One that will love me for all my quirks and let me be the king of the house.
I’m thinking as I can be a little spicy I would be better as the only cat in the home. And just incase a child misread my queues a family without them would be safer.
Also I don’t think a home with an elderly person would be ideal just incase I accidentally tripped them if I’m doing my zoomies.
If you could please give me a chance I know I could make someone a great companion, so please apply and help me finally find my forever home.
Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
