About Luna
Gorgeous Luna is a 2 year old Kelpie who has found herself searching for a forever home in the country. Luna has found city living to be very stressful and her family have made the hard decision to rehome her for her own health and well-being.
Luna’s mum says:-
“””Beautiful, loving Luna is a gentle 2-year-old kelpie. She loves to snuggle and snooze on the couch and play in a large backyard. She's even visited a farm where she had a grand time practising her herding skills on some unsuspecting cattle! Luna's favourite thing is to hang with her humans at home but is also very friendly with dogs of all sizes. She enjoys a good lick of our neighbours kids and, although she gets very excited to see them initially, she soon calms.
Luna has experienced some issues settling to inner city living and is fearful of roads and noise, so would be best homed in the country away from the stress of city life. She is fully house-trained and is an indoor dog, micro-chipped, desexed and vaccinated. Luna is a beautiful, gentle soul who simply struggles to cope with the stress and bustle of city life and deserves tranquillity and a large open space to live her best life.”””
Luna’s family have been working with a trainer for at least 18 months to try to resolve her distress with ongoing medications and training. Sadly they have been unable to desensitize her, and she cannot walk on paths next to roads or even (increasingly) at the park when they have to carry or drive her there. A recent visit to the country on a family friends farm confirmed to the family that Luna would be happier in that sort of environment. She was a completely different dog away from city sounds, happy and relaxed and able to run in a very large garden.
Luna’s family only want what’s best for her so have made this incredibly hard decision. Luna is currently living in Alexandria in Sydney. If you have the perfect country lifestyle for Luna then please contact her family.

* Work commitments? How long will the dog be on their own?
* Why do you think this breed will be suitable for you? Breed type experienced owners will generally be given priority.
