This lovable pup is suitable for all levels of dog owners, whether you're experienced or a first-time dog owner. Benoit's adaptable nature makes him a perfect fit for any household.
Benoit would thrive in a home that allows him free access to both indoors and outdoors. He loves to explore his surroundings and engage in playful antics, so having a space where he can freely roam and frolic would be ideal. A home with a medium to large yard and high secure fencing would be ideal.
Confident, playful, and bursting with puppy energy, Benoit is always ready for adventure. He is outgoing and curious, eager to discover new experiences and make new friends. Daily exercise and walks would greatly benefit him, as they would help burn off some of his excess energy and keep him mentally stimulated.
Being a puppy, Benoit is still in the process of learning and growing. Post-adoption training would be a fantastic opportunity for him to develop his skills and build a strong bond with his new family. Whether it's training at home or enrolling in group classes, Benoit's clever nature will ensure he quickly picks up on basic commands and learns to be a well-mannered four-legged friend.
When it comes to treats, Benoit is a true enthusiast. He loves to be rewarded for his good behaviour, making treat-based training an enjoyable and effective way to teach him new tricks. Benoit is also learning how to interact with toys and walk on a lead, and with patient guidance and positive reinforcement, he will continue to improve his skills in these areas.
One of Benoit's standout talents is his ability to sit on command. He has mastered this command exceptionally well and isn't afraid to show it off!
Benoit is also dog social, which means he enjoys the company of other canines. If you already have a dog at home, or looking to introduce Benoit to other doggy friends then we always recommend their first interaction to be slow and respectful.

Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
How much does it cost to adopt?
The adoption fee for dogs covers C3 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
