About Churro
It’s now time for mumma Churro to find her new home, now that her puppies are all finding homes it’s her turn to get lucky.
Churro is a sweet loving girl who really loves love, she has had a rough time while in care coming in heavily pregnant and having 12 puppies.
Since leaving her puppies she has come out of her shell and has shown her love for playing playing with toys but most of all she loves tennis balls. Churro is learning all about socialising with her current foster mum and enjoys going for walks especially walks on the beach.
We suggest further training with Churro, as she is a young girl still herself she has so much more to learn. She is a food lover which should make her a bit easier to train.
Churro is ok with other dogs, has been fine around children but will need supervision with them as well as cats.
If you can offer Churro what she needs and deserves then fill in an application and the successful applicant will get the chance to meet her.

* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.

Please also keep in mind that we are a volunteer run rescue which means we don’t have someone manning the phone 24/7, we all work full time jobs and get back to your calls and messages as soon as we can. We thank you for your time and patients with us.
