About Freddie
Handsome Freddie is a lovely young boy with a curious, gentle nature. He has settled in wonderfully with his foster family and is quickly getting used to the ins and outs of a busy family home. He is very affectionate, loyal and inquisitive and is always following closely behind to see what you are doing. The highlight of his day is school pick up time (he loves meeting people!) followed by playtime and lots of cuddles with the kids.
Freddie has quickly discovered the joy of dog toys and he keeps himself busy with chew toys for a long time. He happily snoozes on his dog bed during the day (although he prefers to snuggle up with you on the couch if you let him) and sleeps in his crate at night time. He is house trained (with regular toilet breaks) and has stayed home by himself in his crate for short periods of time. Freddie already knows ‘sit’, ‘lay down’, ‘shake’, ‘leave it’, ‘drop’ and ‘bed’ and he picks new things up very quickly. Being a young pup he finds walks really exciting and fun so he is still working on his lead manners. As you can see Freddie has the most beautiful big ears to help him listen to instructions and he will do anything for treats.
Freddie is still a playful puppy and would love to find an active family that will continue his learning journey and teach him healthy boundaries and manners. He would love to attend obedience classes with his new family to help form a strong bond.
Freddie has successfully lived with men, women, children (5+) and other dogs. He enjoys the company of all of them and is respectful to dogs when he meets them. He has met a confident, calm cat but is very interested in small animals that run and likes to chase. Obviously supervision is needed with any new interaction.
Freddie is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and excited to find a family of his own. If you think Freddie is your perfect match please submit your application today. The successful applicant will be invited to meet Freddie and his foster carer.
