About Casey
Casey has taken to pet life like a pro. He is a very relaxed and easy boy who can think of nothing better than getting a cuddle from his humans.
Casey has been an adored family member having being adopted a few years ago. Unfortunately the family’s situation has changed and they have asked us to find Casey the perfect home for him.
Casey is chilled and relaxed at home but he will still get excited and enjoys his zoomies to entertain you. He has some favourite toys to keep him entertained too. He knows to sleep on his own bed but prefers that he sleeps in the human bedroom. Casey is perfectly toilet trained and polite in the home. He knows a few commands and is always keen to please.
This stunning red fawn lad is very happy in his own company and is sometimes home alone for a few hours but he’d rather not be left for longer periods without his humans or a canine friend. Casey loves visitors, always giving an enthusiastic welcome and a friendly nudge to suggest they might like to give him a pat and a cuddle.
Casey is used to a busy home with children and is very patient. He knows to take himself to a quiet space when he wants some chilled time.
Walks are a highlight of Casey’s day. He walks well on lead and is eager to say hello to anyone he meets. Of course he is delighted to meet his greyhound neighbours and is polite with all dogs. Sensibly, he tries to avoid jumpy or yappy ones.
Casey loves his car trips with you. He will easily jump in and out and enjoy the ride especially if he has a comfy bed.
This distinguished, elegant and social boy will soon become a much loved companion in a very lucky home.
No cats or pocket pets
Not be left home alone for more than 4 hours on a regular basis unless there is a suitable canine companion.

Casey has had grit and a corn removed from his right front paw. He has also had the tendon released in this paw.
Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
