About Biggie
Biggie is an adorable boy who is looking for a loving and understanding forever home. He is a silly and dopey boy who is sure to bring lots of joy and laughter to his new family.
Special Needs and Considerations:
Biggie is deaf so requires special attention and understanding from his adoptive family. Communication with Biggie will primarily rely on visual cues and hand signals rather than verbal commands. It is important to ensure that everyone in the household is willing to learn and consistently use these methods to effectively communicate with him.
About Biggie:
Biggie has a naturally friendly and outgoing temperament. His goofy nature adds an extra element of fun to every interaction. Biggie’s enthusiasm and happy-go-lucky attitude are infectious, making him a joy to be around.
Biggie Loves:
One thing that Biggie absolutely loves is water! He is a true water baby and enjoys splashing around and swimming whenever he gets the chance. Providing him with opportunities for water-based activities, such as visits to the beach or playing in a pool, would greatly enrich his life.
Biggie walks well on a lead and loves being out and about meeting new people.
Social Interactions:
Biggie appears to be dog social and enjoys the company of other dogs. Proper introductions and gradual socialization with other canines would be beneficial for him. It is essential to monitor his interactions and ensure that they are positive and supervised, as his inability to hear may affect his ability to communicate effectively with other dogs.
Family Requirements:
Biggie would thrive in a home where his special needs can be met. An adoptive family with patience, understanding, and a willingness to learn alternative communication methods would be ideal. Due to his friendly nature, Biggie would do well in a busy household that has regular social interactions with friends, family, and potentially other dogs.
Training and Obedience:
Given Biggie’s intelligence and willingness to please, he can excel in obedience training. Positive reinforcement, consistency and patience will be key to help him understand and respond to visual cues and hand signals.
Biggie would be a wonderful addition to any family, fill in the form below to find out more!
