Mortimer is a lovely little pup, he is a very calm little man and likes to sit back and assess a situation and take it all in. He can however get a little excited and jumpy but responds well with a firm tone.
He is extremely intelligent and picks things up really quickly in training.
He will need ongoing training as he can be quite stubborn at times.
He has a very strong instinctive herding drive and with some training around that will be an amazing farm dog.
He is very active and loves to run around and play with his toys or other dogs, he also loves to curl up on the couch with his person. He comes for walks on our property and has good recall.
Mortimer would be best suited to someone who lives on acreage or a big block so he has plenty of room to run around on.
Loves kids.
Loves other dogs.
No tested with cats.
Learning boundaries regarding horses.
Loves herding the chickens (not aggressive at all).
Not suited to apartment or a small back yard.
