Favorite things -
Loves human attention
Playing with his toys
Cuddles with humans
Running around outside
Getting into typical puppy mischief
Interaction with humans –
I Love adults and children. He is happy to see anyone walk through the door and will greet them with lots of kisses and cuddles.
Obedience / Training-
Gambler has been crate trained and will sleep through the night. Most mornings he will stay in the crate until someone is awake.
Animal Social Skills -
Gambler is currently living with his sister. He is happy to play with her, however it is starting to get a little rough. This includes nipping at the legs, biting and rolling around.
He has been around a large dog and a cat which he played with and wasn’t bothered by either.
Food-
Gambler is currently eating premium puppy food
Independence -
Gambler is happy being inside or outside during the day playing with his sister and toys. When his foster family are home he wants to be inside with them. And of course, at night he enjoys being with his foster family.
Sleeping -
Gambler is currently sleeping in a dog crate inside with his sister. He goes to bed at around 9pm and sleeps through until someone wakes up (7am-8am)
Inside the home -
Gambler is still in the process of toilet training. He is still having some accidents inside, however frequent visits outside have assisted with this.
IDEAL HOME:
Gambler will be a higher energy dog and will require lots of stimulation and exercise as he matures
A home with a medium to large backyard with grass, shelter, and secure fencing.
A home with or without children, they must be dog savvy children who can handle puppy behavior.
A home with or without another dog.If another dog is in residence already we seek a female of medium to large size who is well socialized and tolerant of puppy behavior.
A daily walk. Short walks while he is a puppy and her bones are developing. A moderate-long walk when is older and has more energy to burn.
A lot of love and training! Gambler Should be welcomed as part of the family and not just left on his own in the backyard all the time. His new owner should dedicate time to training and take him to puppy classes.
He is young enough to learn if you have a dog savvy cat
We recommend children in the home to have prior dog / puppy exposure before your family applies for a young pups puppies do teeth and have sharp little puppy teeth
