About Juno
Meet Juno!
Apply for Juno here: https://www.fosterkittensofmelbourne.org/adopt
Juno first came into care March 2022’, he was on the pound kill list and was given 24 hours to be rescued before he was euthanised. Since the moment he was taken into care, Juno has been nervous and extremely frightened.
We don’t know how he was treated prior to being rescued but his unwillingness to trust humans for such a prolonged period of time has been a strong indication that he was treated very badly.
Juno has now been with his foster carer for over a year. In that time he has gone from extremely timid, frightened and nervous, to a caring foster brother of multiple foster siblings and eventually a very loyal, gentle and loving companion.
He is improving everyday, and will continue to grow with the right family. He is slowly regaining human trust and will continue to become the gentle, doting and loving cat he was always meant to be with the right care.
He loves to snuggle up with his human in bed, and purrs very loudly when he is happy.
Once he has established trust, he is a very loyal and will follow his human every where - the toilet, the shower, the couch and of course the kitchen. He loves to greet his human once they wake up in the morning with adorable squeaks and kisses and will never pass up a morning back scratch. His love language is definitely food. Once it is his meal time, he becomes hilariously vocal until he gets what he wants.
Juno has grown into a beautiful, healthy and muscular boy with a stunning grey coat, always donning his signature milk moustache.
He will be perfect best friend, but it is extremely important to note due to his timid nature he will require patience and empathy until he is comfortable in his new surroundings and in company of his new family.
Due to Juno’s history, he would best be suited to a household with 1-2 people maximum, preferably within an apartment or small house. He does like the company of other cats, but would not be suited to a household with a dog.
Juno would be best suited to a quiet environment, with limited foot traffic. He would not be suited to a household with young children or multiple family members. He has been exposed to the outdoors but is much more comfortable inside.
Juno is unique but extremely special, he will be the perfect companion for the right person.
If you think Juno would be the perfect companion for you, please send through an application! As he is a long term foster it is not a matter of getting him adopted, but finding the right family who will show patience, empathy and the endless love that he deserves.
