About Lola
Lola is super affectionate, and at the same time, she is self-sufficient. If she is bored, she'll entertain herself with a ball or go back to sleep until someone is available to give her attention.
When she's trying to convince you it's cuddle time, Lola sits by your side and whimpers, putting her head close to you. If you don't pay her attention, she will then gently paw you for cuddles and pats. If you let her get close to your face, she does like to give you a kiss. She could cuddle all day!
Lola lets you know she's ready for breakfast as soon as you wake up, but after that, she's happy to sleep all day until walk time. At the park, she loves to run. Her speed and stamina are incredible for her age!
When meeting new dogs, Lola can be grumpy and lets them know early that she is boss by growling and even snapping, and then she settles. For this reason, the dog park is not the best place to walk her. She is better walked somewhere without too many other dogs. That being said, she has lived most of her life with other dogs and had many dogs come to visit for short and long stays. Once she has put them in their place, she is usually fine with them - and even cuddles up with them, as you can see from her photos. However, introductions should always be managed.
Lola is trainable and obedient but does have a strong prey drive. So her new home will need to have secure fencing and be without livestock or pocket pets. Lola is also protective of her home. Whilst she will love anyone who comes to visit once they've been introduced to her, she will defend her home vigorously against anyone who hasn't first been welcomed by her owners. So her new owners will need to be happy to manage this.
In a home environment that is suited to her personality and instincts, Lola will make a wonderful and easygoing companion. She has a heart of gold and will make you feel l like the most loved human in the world!

Her heart and lungs are all clear, with no sign of an arrhythmia or murmur. She has a small lump on her chest that is likely a lipoma and of no concern.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
