About Thomas
This handsome fella is Thomas, a domestic short hair born 16th June 2019.
Thomas was brought in to us after being trapped on someone's property. They believed he was a feral & wanted him to be euthanised. From day one we had suspicions that Thomas was just scared from being trapped as he'd shown no signs of aggression towards any of the staff or volunteers. He was very quiet for a few days, then slowly let his beautiful nature shine.
Thomas is very affectionate & absolutely loves having his chubby cheeks scratched, as well as under his chin. He doesn't seem to mind being carried & he loves sleeping on/with the staff when they're staying back after hours.
Thomas is a very confident boy who doesn't shy away from much, so we feel he would be suitable to live with children.
Thomas is socialised with other cats & kittens (both male & female) and he gets along well with all of them. He was also non-reactive when a cranky, older male cat slapped him several times.
Thomas would suit living with other cats or he'd happily be a spoilt "only child".
Thomas is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
Thomas is such a gorgeous boy and he will be rehomed to a family who are willing to keep him as an inside cat only. He's clearly had a rough time being a street cat as he has some battle wounds & we don't want him to ever be in that situation again. Like all of our cats, he deserves to be loved & protected for the rest of his days.
If you think you could be that furever family for Thomas, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Thomas' adoption fee is $200 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Thomas is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
