About Sheba
Sheba is a happy and loving girl who is always wagging her tail!
Sheba loves to snuggle and enjoys doing things to please her owners. She is smart and learns quickly and has progressed really well in our basic training program. Sheba absolutely loves her training sessions, so it would be great if her new owners could continue with them. In addition to being a quick learner, she is also perfect in the car, making car journeys with Sheba a pleasant experience.
Sheba is looking for a family home with older children where she can be the only furry member of the family and receive all of your undivided attention. With her lovely nature and eagerness to please, she will make an excellent family dog.
If you’d like to know more about Sheba, or organise to meet her, please contact our Shelter Manager Yvette on 0421 831 128.
Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: friendsofthepound.com/adoption-apply
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on the cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten. and 15-20 years for a puppy.
