Tippy

Hello, I’m Tippy and it’s my birthday next Thursday!
I know it is hard to believe but I will be turning 14!
I am a 4kg Poodle x Maltese girl and I am super sweet and loving
I was hanging out with my friends at a shelter, but they knew that that I would be better off in a nice warm home so they asked Aunty Sam if I could become a KPR kid.
I did have a few health issues that needed addressing and I needed to have all of my teeth removed because they were all rotten but I am now healthy and happy and ready to find love!
Don’t let my age fool you, I am still a puppy at heart.
I love to play and have belly rubs and even though my teeth are all gone, I still really love my food!
You might notice that my tongue hangs out the side of my mouth. This is because I have no teeth to keep it in, but Aunty Sam says it just adds to my charm.
I have had blood tests and a heartworm test. I have had my dental surgery and a thorough health check. My vet says that my heart and lungs are good.
Like any senior, my eyesight and hearing are not 100% but I have no trouble getting around or hearing when my name is called.
My foster carers say that I can be quite demanding so I need my new mum or dad to understand that.
I can still jump on the couch (my favourite place) and I would love my human to let me sleep in their bed if they would allow it. I get lonely when I am not with my special person.
I am quite spritely for a golden oldie. I love to have somewhere comfy and soft to snooze and I am an awesome companion so I would love to find a human who would be with me most of the time.
I am hoping to spend my golden years surrounded by those who will love me furever.
