About Chonk
Chonk is an outgoing and confident pup who has survived a life life-threatening condition. He was born with a rare autoimmune skin disease called puppy strangles (juvenile cellulitis) but with ongoing medication and supportive care he overcome this obstacle. Chonk is now a happy and healthy pup.
Chonk enjoys making new friends, going for walks and playing games with humans and other dogs. He is looking for an owner that can keep up with his energy levels, as well as provide him with lots of mental stimulation and environmental enrichment.
Chonk is a keen listener and he is eager to please so puppy school or obedience training is should be a breeze for this clever boy but he is not suitable as a working dog.
Chonk is people focused and doesn't like to be left alone so someone who works from home or can take him on their daily adventures with them would be ideal.
We have a real soft spot for this gorgeous boy and we are keen to see him in a wonderful home with a family who cherish the loyal friendship he offers and will love him forever.
