About Daisy
Meet Daisy, she is beautiful, gentle, sweet and affectionate. If you will ever get sick of patting a dog then Daisy isn’t for you. She loves pats and is always open for more. She is neutral around dogs, she doesn’t look to play with them, but is more than happy to be around them. Daisy loves being where the action is, whether that’s following you around inside or out. She will require daily walks to be happy. Daisy walks well on a lead and a long line, and just has naturally good manners. She sleeps in her crate all night. With just being new to inside life she sometimes needs to go in the crate during the day if she is pacing around, often this means she is tired but is having trouble finding somewhere to rest and unwind. She sometimes puts her front paws around your waist for a hug, this is done super gentle put we are teaching her not to do this with a gentle no. Daisy is known to check out what is on the bench and tables but once again a gentle no is all that is needed. Daisy enjoys car rides and travels well, she likes to sit on the seat or at the passenger’s feet so she has easy access to pats. When everyone leaves the house Daisy can show signs of stress, her foster carers have tried leaving Daisy in her crate but she has panicked. They have found she is most settled outside in a raised dog run kennel. She would prefer her humans home most of the time or join them running errands.
THINGS THAT DAISY REQUIRES IN HER NEW HOME.
- A male desexed dog that’s not too playful and rowdy.
- The opportunity to be with and follow her humans around a lot.
- Owners that will continue to expose her to public places so she can go to markets, cafes and run errands with them.
- A reasonably calm and settled household.
- New owners that have a gentle training style.
- Her family home more often than not.
- Daisy must have access to inside during the day and to sleep inside of a night, either in a crate or dog bed, (she loves the humans beanbag)
We understand Daisy will be the perfect dog to a lot of loving homes, but we will be considering the perfect home for Daisy.

Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet. We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
