Meet Humbug, the smoochy goof looking for a forever home! Humbug is a kelpie crossed possibly with Labrador, resulting in a unique and charming mix. While he may appear a bit nervous at times, Humbug’s sweet nature shines through, and he would thrive with appropriate training and support.

Although Humbug feels a little uneasy around cats, his intentions are pure – he simply wants to play with them. He’s a medium-sized dog, currently in the process of learning how to walk on a lead. His favorite pastime is meandering and sniffing things, making him a great companion for leisurely strolls in nature.

Humbug would love some acreage to explore and roam freely. As a typical kelpie, he exhibits intelligence and displays breed-specific behaviors. This smart pup is currently spending his days in the backyard with access to the back hallway/laundry while his foster carer is at work.

Humbug is being fostered with another young and energetic dog, enjoying their playful interactions. However, he would also do well as an only dog, given he has stimulating toys to play with, things to chew on, and receives daily exercise and training.

No very young children as he can be a bit indiscriminate with his nips when playing but nothing serious. He is mostly house trained but has been known to have an accident here and there.
