About Eevee
ADOPTION GUIDELINES
ACTIVE FAMILY FOR ACTIVE ADOLESCENT DOG - OLDER CHILDREN - POSSIBLE 2ND DOG - SECURE FENCING - INDOOR/OUTDOOR
This is one marshmallow of a dog, she will bond strongly with a soft, calm owner or family who can provide structure and calmness and positivity. Eevee's previous family faced very difficult times and could not meet the needs of an adolescent dog, so they made the heartbreaking decision to do what was right for Eevee and surrender her to RSPCA.
While Eevee has lived with very young children previously, she is more suited to a family with older children who can help her become a more confident adult dog.
Currently she is easily overwhelmed, so child-like bear hugs are not her thing.
When left alone Eevee can be a conversationalist, so will need some home alone and departure training to help her learn to settle when isolated from the family. Eevee is keen to play with other dogs and may suit a home looking for a second dog.
Adolescence is a difficult age so be prepared that this young dog is going through her teenage phase. As Eevee is a mix of two high drive working breeds she will require a lot of physical and mental exercise DAILY.
Eevee is keen to do the right thing and has learned how to play, sit, fetch and give while at the shelter. Each day she is making more friends and is looking to become someone's special companion.
The adoption fee for EEVEE is $395.00 which helps to cover the cost of mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?!
